Women at Buchanan Ingersoll & Rooney
Buchanan has been ranked by the National Law Journal as first among Pittsburgh's largest law firms in a survey of the percentage of women attorneys at those firms. While the firm does not focus on percentages of lawyers based on gender, we nonetheless are proud of this ranking. Women serve on the firm's various management committees. Women serve as members of the firm's Board of Directors, Advisory Committee, Recruiting Committee, as well as serving in the role of office head and section vice chair.
As a firm, we are committed to providing opportunities and challenges for women to succeed. The Women's Business Development Committee (WBDC) is just one example of the support women receive at the firm.
